For over 30 years, Wölffer Estate Vineyard has been known as one of the finest producers on the East Coast. The estate spans approximately 175 acres including the acclaimed 55-acre sustainably farmed vineyard in Sagaponack, NY, as well as 28 acres on the North Fork of Long Island; 200 acres in Mendoza, Argentina; and 2.5 acres in Mallorca, Spain. Hamburg-born international businessman, Christian Wölffer, found a home in 1978 in Eastern Long Island in the heart of the Hamptons when he purchased a 14-acre parcel with a farmhouse surrounded by potato fields; by 1987, he had established his vineyard. The Wölffer wines are known for being food friendly, elegant, and built for longevity.
