Archery Summit Pinot Gris Vireton 2017 — The first Pinot Gris in the New World was planted in the Willamette Valley, just a short distance from Archery Summit. The world-renowned Willamette Valley stretches roughly 100 miles from Oregon’s largest city, Portland, south to Eugene. This fertile and photogenic expanse of land, named after the river that runs along its spine, has become one of the most prized wine-growing regions on earth. This Pinot Gris is a bright, well-rounded wine that features plenty of fresh fruit flavors and a clean, lasting finish. Enjoyable on its own or great with your favorite soft cheese, seafood, or rice dish. $21.99
Seven Hills Walla Walla Merlot 2017 — In the 1980s, fourth-generation farmer, Casey McClellan, planted twenty-one acres of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Over the past three decades, the Seven Hills winery’s endeavors have continued to reflect a commitment to creating wines that showcase the distinctive terroir of Walla Walla Valley. The aromas of this Merlot provide appeal, with notes of pure raspberry, red currant, baking spice and milk chocolate. The medium-bodied palate shows a sense of deftness to the fruit and barrel flavors. It’s a terrific example of the variety. $21.99 Crimson Wine Group represents a handful of west coast wineries, which are highly regarded. We will be joined by Rexine Connor, Mid-Atlantic Key Account Manager for Crimson.
