Who doesn’t love the sound of a champagne cork being popped?! It's joyous! As Oscar Wilde once famously said, “only the unimaginative can fail to find a reason for drinking Champagne”. This fizzy drink has long been a go-to for the affluent, especially in times of celebration. We think of Champagne as a symbol of luxury, to be enjoyed at parties and special occasions, a treat favoured by high-fliers, celebrities, and royalty. But sparkling wines are gaining in popularity and becoming trendy. And, despite Champagne’s reputation, there are many sparkling wines that are delicious and afforadable.

During this tasting, we will sample SEVEN wines from around the world, including Champagne of course! We will be joined by wine expert, Chris Curtis of Winebow (who has led MANY tastings for us). There will be a Charcuterie TABLE by Simply Jam ‘N Boards and live music.

Time: 4-6pm
Cost: $55 per person (plus $3 service fee for online booking). The wines featured will be offered at 10% off single bottles, 20% off cases at the event. Additional glasses of wine will be available for purchase as well.

Unlike our sit-down wine and cheese pairings, the Bubbles Tasting has a more social, cocktail party-type vibe. The wines are set up in stations and tasters rotate throughout the shop.

Registration/prepayment required. Our pairings typically sell out quickly. Since seating is limited, be sure to register early. Tickets are non-refundable unless we have a waitlist and can fill your spot.

We were a little too crowded last year, so we are decreasing the number of tickets available; and we have reconfigured the set up for better flow and accessibility.
