We will be taste:
Rosé of Grenache 2019 -- A seriously dry rosé with ripe strawberry, melon and guava fruit, shaded by spicy zest and tangy minerality; a somewhat bigger, richer, red-wine-drinker-style of Rosé, $19.99.
Grenache (red) 2017 -- Deceptively light in color, this Grenache delivers alluring aromas of fresh raspberries and orange peel. The wine is lively and light on the palate, with an acidity that refreshes and supports the fruit flavors from the front to the back. Black cherry, strawberry, and a subtle zestiness linger on the finish. Serve slightly chilled, $23.99.
Although the winery is in Napa, the grapes for both wines are sourced from Mendocino.
The Elizabeth Spencer Winery aspires to make wines that are delicious to drink, elegant, refined, and balanced. These are wines of intensity and power, without excess weight; enjoyable and memorable; and worthy to be shared with friends around the table.
We will be joined by Alicia Seay, National Sales Manager for ES Winery, as well as Chris Curtis, of course.
VWTs via Zoom; we will send the link (no account necessary). Feel free to have snacks or dinner while we are tasting! We will have another VWT on July 24 and are continuing to offer 20% off if all wines for both VWTs are purchased. Phone orders and curbside pickup still available, 828.438.8400, or feel free to come in and shop.
