The theme for all three shows is "People, Places, and Things." May's focus is "People" and will feature a call-for-artists to create a portrait of someone that inspired them during 2020 and the pandemic. Craft'd's Featured Artist will be DeAnna Steiner of DeAnna Steiner Pottery, which features organic creations that explore texture and color combinations. Each piece is hand built from slabs of earthen clay which are textured using various found, made, and purchased objects. The work is finished in colorful terra sigillata, a fine clay slip and is burnished to create a soft sheen. They are as nice to touch as they are to look at.

We will be featuring the Pampsecco a combination of Pamponete grapefruit rose and Prosecco. The bar with beer AND wine on tap will be open and St. Lucios’s Gourmet and Cheese will be open as well, with new selections arriving weekly.

In addition, visit the Burke Arts Council, City Hall, Mountain Gallery and Gifts, OSuzannah's Yarn on Union, West Union Art Studio, Adventure Bound Books and Hamilton Williams to celebrate the downtown people who continue to inspire you to experience culture, shop and dine in downtown Morganton!
