We're continuing with our Thanksgiving preparation wine tastings this month.
Thanksgiving is a holiday usually reserved for white wines and lighter reds. This week, we will taste two delicious whites and a pretty amazing rose:
Raats Chenin Blanc 2019 -- The wine has a distinctive yellow apple, kiwi fruit and pineapple core, alongside notes of green melon and limes and is bursting with fresh fruit flavors. The zesty citrus flavor lingers on the palate, with a long mineral finish. $14.99
Raptor Ridge Pinot Gris 2018 -- Sharp toned at first, this smooths out with a bit of aeration, bringing up a tasty mix of apple, pear and lemon curd, with notes of vanilla and whipped cream. It was entirely whole-cluster fermented in stainless steel, and retains its richness through a lingering finish. $20.99
Curran Grenache Gris (Rosé) 2019 – Pale blush in color, this dry Rosé is refreshingly clean with notes of strawberry, white raspberries and hints of gardenia and mint. Nice structure with firm, yet velvety, tannins and a crisp, lingering finish. $26.99
Complimentary, as always. Tastings are tableside; c'mon in when you're ready.
