Kendall-Jackson offers these limited release wines in commemorative bottlings.
Today, over 5,000 acres of vineyard in California's coastal regions are farmed by Kendall-Jackson. Four separate wineries house what is possibly the single largest barrel-fermentation project in the world. But perhaps most important is that Kendall-Jackson remains a family-owned winery. We will sample:
Kendall-Jackson Mendocino County Chardonnay 2020 — Aged in small oak barrels, balanced notes of warm vanilla with aromas of bright tropical fruit and citrus. 14.5% ABV. $18.99/$7
Kendall-Jackson Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 — Aromas of ripe blackberry, black cherry, cocoa and cassis draw you in. Round, rich, seamless tannins provide a robust backbone and supple mid-palate. The palate is textured palate with notes of cigar box and baking spice, accompanied by hints of black currant and dark cherry. Hints of cedar, vanilla, toast and a hint of mocha linger on the finish. 14.5% ABV. $29.99/$10
See y’all Friday!
