Italy has a rich and diverse wine heritage dating back more than two thousand years. Famous for its bewildering diversity of both grape varieties and wine styles, Italy is also significant for the sheer volume of wine it produces: just over 4 billion liters (around 1.06 billion US gallons).

The country is divided into 20 regions, all of which produce wine to some extent. Each region has its flagship wine styles. Some are famous because they are produced in large volumes and can be found all over the world, others because of their consistently high quality.

During this tasting, we will sample six wines from three of these regions. Chris Curtis of Winebow will be here to lead us through this exploration and answer all your questions.

AND, this event is a Wine and Cheese Pairing! St. Lucio’s Gourmet and Cheese will pair a fabulous cheese with each wine.

Cost: $45 per person (includes service fee for online booking; or book in person at the shop, cost is $42). The wines featured will be offered at 10% off single bottles, 20% off cases at the event. Additional glasses of wine will be available for purchase as well.
