The Faustino family is at the forefront of winemaking in Spain. It owns about 650 hectares of vineyards in the best areas of the DOCa Rioja, and it is one of the largest owners of vineyards in Rioja. The winery recently released its line of art collection labels. The old merchants were the ones in charge of taking the wine throughout all the countries of the world. For this reason, and because of the Faustino family's passion for art, the third generation of Bodegas Faustino chose Rembrandt's portrait of the Dutch merchant Nicolaes Van Bambeeck to represent this spirit on their labels. Today, almost five centuries after those travels, Faustino is among the 25 most recognized wine brands in the world.
