The tendency of still wine from the Champagne region to lightly sparkle was noted in the Middle Ages but this was considered a mistake and was disdained in early Champagne winemaking. Superb sparkling wine is now made the world over, using a range of grape varieties and production techniques to create a splendorous array of styles. From Old World to New, traditional wine regions to burgeoning ones, sparkling wines have something for everyone and fit all budgets.

For the first time ever, we will sample EIGHT wines from around the world, including Champagne, of course! We will be joined by wine expert, Chris Curtis of Winebow (who has led MANY tastings for us). Simply Jam ‘N Boards will produce an amazing Charcuterie Table and we will be entertained with live music by the talented Tyler Sain.

The wines featured will be offered at 10% off single bottles, 20% off cases at the event. Additional glasses of wine will be available for purchase as well.

Unlike our sit-down wine and cheese pairings, the Bubbles Tasting has a more social, cocktail party-type vibe. The wines are set up in stations and tasters rotate throughout the shop.
